Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the App.

2. Account

You must register an account to use CamperPlaces. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You may not create more than one account or create an account on behalf of another person without their consent.

3. User-Generated Content

CamperPlaces allows you to add spots, upload photos, write reviews, and interact with content posted by others. By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to store, display, and distribute that content within the App. You warrant that:

• You have the right to submit the content (including photos).
• The content is accurate and not misleading.
• The content does not infringe any third-party rights.
• The content complies with applicable laws.

4. Prohibited Content and Conduct

You may not use the App to:

• Post content that is false, defamatory, harassing, abusive, threatening, or illegal.
• Post content that infringes third-party intellectual property or privacy rights.
• Spam, scrape, or reverse-engineer the App.
• Impersonate any person or entity.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the App or its systems.
• Post commercial advertisements without our prior written consent.

We reserve the right to remove any content and terminate any account that violates these Terms.

5. Location Data and Accuracy

Spots and location data in the App are user-generated and may be inaccurate or outdated. We do not guarantee the accuracy, legality, or safety of any location listed. Always verify conditions before visiting a spot. You are solely responsible for complying with applicable local laws.

6. Intellectual Property

The CamperPlaces name, logo, and app design are our intellectual property. You may not use them without our prior written consent.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed EUR 100.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from within the App.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the App or email at least 14 days before they take effect.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Austrian law. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Vienna, Austria. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
